How to use this guide
This guide is divided into four sec tions, each
with a dis tinc tive color:

1. Index of companies (pink pag es): This
comprises names of all com pa nies listed in
this guide, and the clas si fi ca tion codes under
which their details appear.

2. Classification codes: Companies in
non-Arab coun tries have been clas si fied
according to their ac tiv i ties. They are divided
into 23 groups, each with a nu mer i cal code.
Com pa nies in the Arab world are listed
country-wise with each coun try given an
alpha betical code.

3. Classified listings of in ter na tion al
companies (blue pages): This section
alphabetically lists com pa nies in non-Arab
coun tries under each clas si fi ca tion code.

4. Arab world companies (yellow pages):
This is a alphabetical listing of companies in
20 Arab countries, classified according to the
country in which they are located. Coun tries
are ar ranged alphabetically and entries under
each country are also similarly listed.
