Anipro Pumped with Aussie
Farmers are in need of non-corrosive pumps that can handle a range of agricultural chemicals safely. Pumping large volumes of corrosive liquid farm chemicals can be hazardous and time consuming.
Grant Barron from Tara in Queensland delivers Anipro, a liquid protein and vitamin feed supplement, to Queensland beef farmers. He bought an Aussie 2” Smart Pump 15 years ago and uses it to load a 10,000 litre tanker and 12,000 litre dog trailer tanker. On average the pump allows him to deliver 40,000 litres of Anipro per day. That’s 10 million litres per year!
“The pump is 15 years old and has done a tremendious service,” said Grant Barron. “I am able to load and unload my tankers fast and the pump handles molasses based liquids with ease,” he said.
Australian Pump’s 30% glass filled polyester Smart Pump is designed for handling agricultural chemicals. The Aussie 2” and 3” Smart pumps have 6.5HP Honda engines and are backed by Honda’s national three year engine warranty.
The Aussie Smart pump is available in 2” or 3” configuration with either a high head or high flow impeller option. It is capable of producing up to 37m head and 835 lpm to 1,010 lpm for the 2” and 3” pumps respectively.
The pump’s unique construction material, glass filled polyester, is impervious to corrosion generated by corrosive liquids. Stainless steel fasteners, EPDM o-rings and check valves are standard equipment for the 2” and Viton seals standard for the 3” model.
While Honda petrol drive smart pumps are the most common, the same pumps are also available with either hydraulic or electric drive.
Close coupled electric motor drive versions in either single phase or 3phase allow simple installation.
