The Norwegian technology company Normex has been granted a patent for Razone \u2013 a technology developed to ensure stable and controlled water quality in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The patent confirms the novelty of the technology and marks an important step in Normex\u2019s continued focus on land-based aquaculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Razone is designed for continuous commercial operation in modern RAS facilities and provides farmers with improved control of water quality. The solution reduces biological risk, particularly during intensive phases of juvenile fish production, where even minor fluctuations in water quality can have significant consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStable water quality is essential for fish health and production in RAS facilities. Razone has been developed to give farmers better control, more predictable operations and improved fish welfare,\u201d says Stig Ove Johansen, CEO of Normex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The patent strengthens Normex\u2019s position as a technology provider for land-based aquaculture, both in Norway and internationally, and provides increased confidence for customers and partners regarding the solution\u2019s reliability and scalability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
